So I havent’ had much time to write about retrolan. We have had one retrolan since the last post. It was a great LAN and everyone’s still tuning their retro pcs to be more stable.
Today I tested my main retro pc and found out that the primary HDD contained alot bad sectors. No surprise here because the drive was and old Seagate Barracuda (40 GB).
I decided to clone the drive to a newer Samsung Spinpoint (40 GB also, but no bad sectors). I think I will buy a bigger and newed HDD just to be safe. I really don’t want to lose my precious retro files.
